Falcon’s AB Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers are suitable for extinguishing Class A, B & C fires. The ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers are widely used in commercial buildings, industrial plants, workshops, laboratories, schools, cars, and homes. The dry powder extinguishes the fire through a chemical reaction with the flame.
When it is applied to hot and smoldering surfaces, the particles swell to form a barrier to snuff out oxygen from the source fire, thus preventing re-ignition. Removing either one of the 3 factors; heat, oxygen, or fuel will prevent any re-ignition of fire. Besides being a poor conductor of electricity, the dry powder can provide the operator with a heat shield and has a fast knock-out effect.
Good Against: Class A, B, and C fires
Falcon’s Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguisher is a colourless, odourless gas. A high-pressure discharge of the gas provides a very fast fire fighting action, making it effective against class B and class C fires involving flammable liquids, gases, and electrical fires. Being heavier than air, it works by smothering the flames and reducing the oxygen content of the air around the fire. After use, CO2 disperses without leaving any contamination or corrosive residue and will not damage clothing, equipment, or material.
Good Against: Class B and C fires
The FALCON Water Fire Extinguisher is suitable to combat against Class A fires. Do note that the extinguisheing agent for this fire extinguisher is water, it should NOT be used on any live electric equipment.
For the Water Fire Extinguisher with Additive, the additives help increase its effectiveness, thus reducing the amount of water needed, and hence the weight and size of the extinguisher.
Falcon’s Halotron™ Fire Extinguishers are proven clean fire extinguishing agents applicable to a variety of fires. They are approved for commercial/industrial and military use as a substitute for Halon 1211 in streaming applications.
Upon discharge, Halotron™ I fire extinguisher attacks the three corners of the fire triangle and breaks the fire chain chemically, making re-ignition impossible.
