The tool can be used to:

- Make standpipe connections,
- Shut off residential utilities,
- Adjust system pressures (PRV),
- Open oxygen cylinders, and
- Block doors open.

In the event the tool is used on a extremely heated equipment, the tool will be released due to its built-in FUSIBLE LINK, protecting its user from further harm.
