By depriving the oxygen, the blanket reduces smoke and toxic fumes, creating an enclosed environment that allows aerosol units to effectively suppress the flames. This containment prevents the fire from spreading, thereby minimizing collateral damage to the surroundings.

Usage Guidelines
- Turn Off Heat Source: Immediately disconnect or shut down any electric or gas heating equipment.
- Prepare for Deployment: Remove the blanket from its cover, gripping the edges carefully to protect your hands.
- Cover the Fire: Gently and steadily drape the blanket over the flames, avoiding a throwing motion.
- Allow Cooling: Wait until the blanket has cooled completely before removing it.

Why do I need Fire Blanket to fight car fires?
Most vehicles are equipped with lithiun-ion batteries (or similar). Although lithium-ion batteries provide numerous advantage, such as high energy density, they also present fire risks.
How to deploy the Fire Blanket?
Deploying the fire blanket effectively requires minimum 2 people. It involves careful positioning over the burning vehicle to ensure complete coverage while handling it with care to avoid damage.
Please follow these instructions for safe deployment of the Fire Blanket:
- Place the blanket next to the safest side of the car
- Open the bag and unfold the blanket to its full width
- Pull half the blanket lengthwise over half the car by using the green loops
- Now pull the other half of the blanket over the car using the yellow (or red) loops
- The car is now fully covered
- Straighten the blanket to make sure the blanket touches the ground around the car
Is the blanket resuable?
Yes, it is resuable up to 6-7 times, making it sustainable and effective solution for multiple fire incidents. This conclusion is based on our live test, during which we used the same blanket on three different hybrid car fires with batteries in thermal runaway. After these fires, the blanket showed visible signs of usage but remained functional.
